LA-based duo david crocco and cela scott are automatik eden, a hard hitting, ambient rock project

David Crocco (composer, vocals, guitar, bass, drums, keyboard) and Cela Scott (composer, vocals, guitar) make up the unique LA-based alternative duo, Automatik Eden. Though one might hear flavors of Portishead, early Pretenders and The Kills, Automatik Eden have a style that is distinctly their own.

Crocco and Scott were figures in the LA entertainment scene before their creation of the band.  David owns a premiere audio post-production company, which has mixed such TV hits as Behind the Music, Punk’d and United Shades of America. Cela is also an actor and appeared in the online show Star Trek: Renegades, for which Automatik Eden created the title song, "Captain of My Soul."

Automatik Eden’s music pulls from a wide variety of influences, that when made authentically their own, becomes an intoxicating blend of a new electronic rock sound that is creative, compelling, and hauntingly familiar from days past. While their songwriting style is listener-friendly, it steers away from the formulaic. They have gained notoriety for their provocative visual style, which brings edge and glamour to the depth of their storytelling.

Their debut album "Madland" is expertly produced and mixed by Sean Beavan (NIN, Marilyn Manson, No Doubt).
